Can I connect to bplaced with Outlook? If yes, how? Where is SMTP, POP3 server information?
bplaced doesnt provide mailservers.
So you cant have an e-mail address with your hosting here and there are no servers to connect to if there is no email.
Would be a cool though, maybe tie it to the user disc space 
This means that I can not send HTML formatted mail?

You cansend mails using the php function mail().
