Hello, i created account to bplaced.net about an hour - two ago and i’m trying to login to my FTP. I created FTP called mencore_mencore and i’m using WinSCP. I’m using port 21, password is correct, i’m using FTP protocol etc. but i still keep getting error:
“No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it”
Any ideas?

EDIT: Also tried with port 22, no difference.

Servername /Hostname : mencore.bplaced.net

ah, i had „bplaced.net“ as a hostname when it still needed that „mencore.“ in front of it, my FTP using skills are obviously little bit rusted, thanks a lot!

I set WinSCP connection to „passive“ and now it works fine. No problem anymore! =)
Delete all your FTP Accounts in your User Control Panel on bplaced.net and create one new. Then try it again!
