Hi i am new here
does anyone know how you make a site cause its all really confusing at the moment
thanks
Greetings,
is your problem that you don’t know how to publish your site, or that you don’t know how to make one?
- You can publish/upload your site via FTP. That means you need a special program like “Filezilla” (recommended). Then you connect* to your webspace press the upload button.
- Host: yourusername.bplaced.net
Username: yourusername
Password: yourpass
Port: (leave empty) or 21
- If you don’t know how to create a website, you can either
[ul][li] start to learn HTML and CSS to code it yourself (there is a documention somewhere for sure, just don’t know any english lecture…just google it ) and finally upload it like in 1)[/li]
[li] Download a Content Managment System (CMS) like Joomla!, upload it like in 1) and install it. Then you can create your website easily over the web in the backend of your CMS.[/li]
[li] Try a program like Dreamweaver to make one, then upload it. [If you want a proper site, don’t do it.][/li]
[li] if you have the needed money, consult a webdesigner[/li][/ul]

I’d go for a CMS, but joomla might be confusing at first ( it’s a great help if you have no knowledge though ).
Something more easy could be PHP-Fusion, it’s a clean CMS with all the futures you need ^^.
